A liposomal encapsulated active ingredient combining carnosine, silymarin and tocopherol. Carnosine is a dipeptide, composed of the two amino acids alanine and histidine. It occurs naturally in tissues, such as in muscles and the brain. However, its concentration declines as people grow older. The polyphenol silymarin is extracted from milk thistle seeds (Silybum marianum).
